Senior Manager, Finance & Corporate Planning
Responsibilities:
This is a role with responsibilities in multiple areas:
• Accounting & reporting (overseas entity)
• Project Evaluation
• Corporate Planning
You will review, analyze and monitor the financial performance of overseas investment. New projects feasibility evaluation form part of your job scope. A good understanding of the various corporate finance concepts is necessary. You will be required to travel to fulfill these responsibilities.
You may be required to take on short term posting overseas to oversee accounting functions of overseas entities.
You will also be part of the Corporate Planning team. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting and project evaluation.
Requirements:
This role is for someone looking to challenge himself. You should possess a Bachelor of Accountancy degree with at least 8 years of relevant working experience which should include the Big 4 accounting firm and working in China. The candidate should be prepared to travel when required.
Your management ability is as important as your ability to be hands-on. The successful candidate is deadline driven, works independently and has good communications skills. You are self-driven, confident and have strong business acumen. Proficiency in business Chinese both written and spoken is a must. You should be up-to-date with the latest changes to Financial Reporting Standard. A strong financial modeling skill is an added advantage.
