HEAD OF SALES AND MARKETING

This is a unique opportunity for a result driven professional to build and lead a high performing team to greater achievements. The selected candidate will conceptualise, implement and manage sales and marketing plans for all revenue areas of the club. These are membership, banqueting, marina, rooms and jackpot. He/she will devise and implement club marketing and branding initiatives and oversee all internal and external marketing tools, including the website, club magazine, direct email, media relations etc. Oversees the organisation of a successful programme of social events.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceptualise and execute marketing initiatives to raise public awareness and increase membership acquisition.
• Lead and support the membership team to achieve targets in member recruitment and retention, and to provide effective administration of all membership matters.
• Lead and support sales teams of other revenue centres to achieve their targets.
• Manage all PR and Marcom activities of the Club.
• Negotiate and secure sponsorship from partners.
• Provide marketing direction and support to all departments to strengthen the Club brand and to meet financial targets.
• Oversee the management of activities and events that engage members and result in a high participation rate.
• Responsibility for the departmental budget and results.

PREREQUISITES:

• Diploma or degree in holder.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Sales & Marketing in managerial position.
• Strong business acumen coupled with a dynamic personality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good leadership qualities
