PROJECT DIRECTOR/MANAGER

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the effective implementation and successful completion of the redevelopment and construction of the hospital and nursing home.
• Lead, manage, provide leadership and monitor the Project Team in terms of work progress, project site scheduling, project costing, procurement and quality control with the objective of ensuring works progress smoothly and complete within the target time and budget.
• Liaise and coordinate with all parties involved including Management, Board members, government authorities, architects, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Responsible for project financial management and reporting, including cash flow monitoring and projections.
• Liaise with the Management of the Hospital to ensure smooth decanting of patients and effective management of the facilities during the redevelopment period.
• Carry out inspection when required, for work in progress, installations and deliveries to ensure proper quality checks.
• Ensure all project documentations are complete.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or its equivalent.
• At least 10 years experience in project management and construction works.
• Knowledge and skills to work in collaboration with consultants of various disciplines and familiar with authorities’ submission procedures for building projects.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to work under a contract term.
• PR and Singaporeans preferred.
