designated Public Postal Licensee (PPL) for Singapore providing domestic

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be responsible for developing strategic business roadmap to capitalise on business opportunities both domestic and international mail services, so as to chart the future growth in revenue and profits for the mail division.

Being
at the forefront of formulating and leading the implementation, you are
to plan and develop initiatives to achieve profitability and revenue
growth by performing these primary duties and responsibilities;
- To identify, assess new business opportunities and drive key projects particularly digital and regional expansion initiatives
- Developing
long term business plan to capitalize on new or next generation
technologies for business opportunities and to propose relevant
upgrades/features for new products
- Work
closely with the Corporate Planning & Strategy and Sales &
Marketing teams to provide market and operational feasibility analysis
and identify new business opportunities. Constantly be up-to-date with
industry trends and impact, competitive activities and service
improvement
- To
review annual division performance and developing annual roadmap on key
projects with Operations and Sales & Marketing teams
- To ensure the availability and timeliness progress of key strategic projects under Protecting the Core (PTC) initiatives
- Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the AVP (Business Innovation)
Requirements:
- A degree with at relevant experience in strategic planning & development
- Able to think strategically and operationally, innovative, and good with numbers;
- Excellent in Excel;
- Able to work independently and demonstrate good teamwork;
- A positive/can-do attitude and possess high degree of pro-activeness;
- Good communications and presentation skills
