- Assist the Investment teams in analyzing potential investments, including financial due diligence, financial modelling, valuation, deal structuring.
- Monitor and manage the portfolio of investments, including review of management and financial reports and obtaining updates from the company’s management.
- Assist investee companies through board representation, shareholder meetings, introduction to EDBI Group’s extensive network of portfolio companies and fund-of-funds.
- Actively divest portfolio companies to realize returns, including negotiation with buyers on sale price and terms, liaising with brokers, review of target sale prices.
- Liaise with fund stakeholders through board and shareholder meetings, review of fund performance.
Requirements
- Master/Degree in Finance or Business with working knowledge in finance and good understanding of venture capital/private equity investments. Experience in dealing with legal matters/policies will be useful
- PhD, MBA or CFA holder would be an added advantage
- 3 to 5 years’ working experience in finance-related roles which involve analysis of companies and sectors
- Excellent relationship management capabilities
- A strategic thinker with a high level of initiative
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
