Cash Applications Specialist (7K)

On of the most influential technology and entertainment business in the world is seeking to recruit a hands-on and analytical individual into its team reporting to the Cash Applications Manager within the Global Finance Shared Services Center

Responsibilities include:

• Identification & post receipts including allocating receipts to customer invoices

• Handle daily credit card settlement & payment reconciliation for Online & Retail

• Handle Retail cash reconciliations

• Process customers’ credit card/ non credit card refunds

• Liaise with Retail store Ops on incoming payments & BDC errors

• Reconciliation of Credit Card AR & GL clearing accounts

• Handle Retail credit card charge backs investigation

• Liaise with Pacific Store Back Office team & Retail on customer disputes on credit card transactions 

• Ensure proper document procedures and controls

• Able to drive and/or participate in Projects and support new biz models

• Make recommendations to support business growth and changes in business models in the region

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent

• 6 year of related commercial working experience, of which at least 3 years are in a fast-paced MNC environment

• Proficiency in Korean and / or Chinese Language 

• Experience with the SAP system will be an advantage

• Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Mature, responsible, driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skill

• Must be a team player and enjoy working in fast pace environment
