Web Developer / Project Manager

Basic Knowledge

Good experience in CMS - E.g. Wordpress / Joomla / Zen Cart
Experience in PHP, Unix, MySQL or ASP.net, C#
Good knowledge on Cpanel / Direct Admin
Experience in creating portals
University degree in computer science or engineering is preferred
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL or other web development skills are highly valued
Able to work independently to deadlines and also work in a team
Excellent proficiency in front‐end web development languages and techniques (e.g. Javascript, CSS, HTML, AJAX, jQuery)
Exposure to web‐based database structures and backends (e.g. SQL, PHP)
A solid understanding of fundamental software engineering principles
Familiarity/Experience with algorithm development and testing
Able to work effectively in a team
Able to pick up functional knowledge of a new programming language and platform with relative ease
Design and develop websites using HTML/CSS and Flash
Create concepts and mock ups for clients with a creative and innovative flair
Conceptualise and create Visual artwork using illustrator and photoshop
Work with team (Art director, Senior multimedia designer, web developers, project manager) to develop projects (artwork and online sites)
Maintain and making regular updates to client’s website
Research and source for materials online

Preferred Experience

Proficiency in a platform‐portable language (e.g. Python, Java)
Good feel for the state of the art of web‐based front end interfaces (e.g. practically implementing CSS3 and HTML5)
Experience in graphic design

Skillsets

Min. Diploma with in a relevant course.
Should have a good portfolio on web design and visual artwork
Knowledge in Flash action scripts and web development languages (PHP / jQuery) will have an advantage
Possess a positive, passionate and creative mind
Candidate should be resourceful and independent
Excellent interpersonal, & verbal communication skills
Must be Singaporean or Singapore PR
Ability to perform under pressure with a strong desire to succeed
Should have experience on CMS e.g. Wordpress / Joomla.
